805b multicells available in Columbus

A friend has a pair available, with or without 292-8a drivers.

Also a set of 809b xovers 800 Hz.

In central Ohio. Could be picked up but arrangements would have to be made with him.

Any interest LMK will forward your email addy, and you and he can negotiate direct.

I think he has about 450 in mind on the horns and 350 on the drivers, 80 on the xovers.

Follow up...my friend says the 805's are gone.

He has a pair Altec 809 crossovers, after I told him about this place, he said to offer them to members here at 50 bucks the par.
292-8a drivers (essentially 8 ohm 290's but without the big can on the back, 291 sized) $299 for the pair

And a pair of 1215A 421 loaded 300 for the 421's or 350 loaded, or 100 for the 1215a's empty pair I'm guessing H series speakers due to the 150 watt rating...likely OEM not labeled versions inside though.

If my health was better I'd try the 1215's as a sub for home theater. I just have all projects on hold. 350 for loaded 1215A's is not a bad deal.

I tried to talk him into joining here, he declined, says he's already over-committed.

ps; If we were in a season where I wouldn't be risking life & limb ( by driving along side of Lake Erie ) , I would have done an out of country road trip for a personalized pickup .

I know a few people with moderate caches of Altec around here...since I used to sell a lot of it. Mostly Pro, I didn't sell home stuff.
Try to get it posted here before Fleabay when I hear about it. I don't get around, though, so depend on the grapevine.

My friend has a bad back...he may consider it a favor not to have to help load the 1215a's till spring thaw.

He's single and they are in a garage. He just never uses them anymore, being almost as old as me. So if you do fancy an Ohio drive in spring, second best time of they year (Fall when the trees turn has to win out) LMK and I'll put you in touch.
